We started our family business in June 2005 and since then have slowly built up our range of fish and products. Today our fish room boasts 129 tanks with a large range of Tropical & Cichlid Fish. We are constantly learning from our clients and appreciate their valued assistance.

At home Roxanne had a beautiful 4 foot tank with 12 African cichlids. But when she got to the stage of coming home and groaning about having ANOTHER tank to clean and do water changes on, she knew it was time to let it go.

She now just has a small pond that she can see from her kitchen window with 3 goldfish and she is happy.  She has a Hula Hoop covered with fly-screen to act as a cover (she did say small pond), which keeps the birds and cane toads out. Thanks to Catrina (Deep Water Aquatics) for the great idea.

Her girls also used to have Siamese Fighters. Love those words, *used to*. They had 6 very cute fighter tanks scattered around the house, until Roxanne got tired of cleaning them all. Probably at about the same time as the cichlid tank. Now there is just one very ugly fighter in the kitchen.

Roxanne remembers when she was young and wanting to surprise her Mum & Dad with a clean kitchen. The chairs went up on the table ready for sweeping. A chair slipped off the table and the leg of the chair went through the fish tank. Water everywhere! She managed to save the fish and the floor had never been SO clean.

The addiction to ornamental fish can start early and last a life time.
